Research

Through its involvement in major Federal government and private sector funded research initiatives, VEXTEC has established a national reputation for engineering excellence in failure analysis, material behavior assessment, manufactured lot reliability prediction, real time product health prognosis and reliability/total cost forecasting.

Almost immediately after VEXTEC was started in 2000, we received our first research grant from the Air Force Research Laboratory in Ohio. Since then, we have been continuously involved in major Federal-sponsored research initiatives. VEXTEC has or has had sponsored research with virtually every sector of the military and NASA. Some of the programs VEXTEC has been connected with include:

  • Joint Strike Fighter Aircraft Development Program
  • Next Generation Space Shuttle Concept Studies
  • DoD Materials Prognosis Program
  • Air Force Engine Rotor Life Extension Program
  • Versatile Affordable Aircraft Turbine Engine Program
  • Reusable Launch Vehicle Program
  • High Cycle Fatigue Initiative
  • Ballistic Missile Defense Program
  • Long Range Strike Fighter Development

VEXTEC has been actively involved in private sector sponsored research connected with automotive, electronic package, and aerospace reliability assessment. Please contact us directly for more information.
