Sales Representative Medical Device Market |

We are seeking an experienced Sales person to drive the expansion of our Medical Device market. This person will work from their home ideally located in a major medical device market such as Boston, New Jersey, Indiana, Minnesota, San Francisco. This position reports to the VP Sales and Business Development.
Company Overview:
VEXTEC builds product durability and reliability simulators to predict the life and cost of individual components, systems and fleets under varying operating conditions. Our unique capabilities are used in the resolution of product warranty issues as well as in the design and engineering of new products.
VEXTEC simulators accurately predict the performance, durability and lifetime cost of a single component or an entire fleet-before they're ever built. Our client base includes companies in the Aerospace, Industrial Equipment, Automotive, Aviation MRO, Oil & Gas, and Precision Instruments markets.
Responsibilities:
- Translate customer requirements into sales.
- Identify & establish relationships with multiple levels and functions of large, complex organizations; from C level decision makers through Operations, and Development.
- Generate and track proposals from inception through closing and project completion.
- Interfaces with Sales management and an internal technical team in the development and execution of proposals and projects.
- Develop and adjust customer plans as required to be successful.
- Manage customer interfaces and expectations to grow sales.
- Manage time and budget within guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum BS is Engineering, Sciences, or Business
- Minimum 10 yrs industry experience with minimum of 5 yrs in direct sales to the Medical Device market
- In-depth understanding of the market and the product performance issues it faces, with demonstrated experience solving those issues
- Prior employment by a major OEM is a plus
- Proven ability to develop and close new business opportunities
- Proven ability to generate multiple sales to large, complex organizations
- Experience working in a team-oriented, technology based environment
Salary & Benefits:
This position provides a Base Salary and generous commission structure. Benefits include medical, dental, and a 401K plan.
